The history
Simem has been providing solutions for the precast industry since the early years. In January 2018 Schiaslo Spil proudly joined the SIMEM family as SIMEM SPIL in order to better integrate the expertise in the Group.
Schiaslo Spil was founded in the early 70s in San Biagio di Callalta, near Treviso, with the mission to engineer tailor-designed systems for automated production processes in the precast industry.
With almost 60 years’ experience, the company has gathered an important database of equipment and machinery and it has developed its own range of precast plants by proposing installations for all sorts of concrete elements such as slabs, walls, beams, columns, poles, and tunnel segments beside the traditional the production of steel molds for concrete elements.
This powerful new partnership brings an additional expertise to SIMEM – an intangible asset accumulated through the many inventions and installations created by the SCHIASLO-SPIL team in the past. The combination of the SIMEM articulated concrete batching and mixing program with the design and supply of distribution and forming equipment, which was the mission of SCHIASLO SPIL, will make it possible to offer turn-key solutions for any industrialized concrete element casting process.
The Path
From the beginning the idea of Schiaslo SPIL was to bring to their customers the best solutions.
Mechanical engineering and automation have always been the focus of the company and in the beginning, it produced machinery for handling and packaging of many different products.
Schiaslo Spil started focusing on the concrete industry in 70’s and its first machine was a clay brick lintel machine. Since then, the company have developed a range of machinery for use in precast, block and wetcast. The first years its products were mainly focused on the Italian market with production equipment for clay/concrete combined products like lintels and beams.
In the beginning of the 90’s the company started supplying carrousels for the German market and thus it developed its products and knowledge in this field.
Going forward Schiaslo Spil, now SIMEM Spil, is fully focused on advancing within this market to provide its customers with the best SOLUTIONS for their challenges.

The Research & Development department is the real strategic center of SIMEM Spil and is oriented to evolve the best possible products by using the most innovative and effective technologies, with a team of experienced engineers utilizing latest tools, working in partnership with the clients to understand their needs, and convert these into suitable products and services.
MANUFACTURING & SALES
The SIMEM Spil headquarter cover an area of 3.000 m², where all SIMEM Spil equipment is developed, designed, and fabricated.
A diffused and professional sales network guarantee an almost total coverage of the territory, with the aim to assist and support the client by means of technical knowledge and availability to attend them quickly granting the maximum productive efficiency.
